Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a concept of examination and treatment of the patient.

The physiotherapist, after a detailed history and differential examination, is able to find the disturbed structures, determine the degree of their damage and analyze the mechanisms of the appearance of the ailment.

Treatment involves restoring the physiological balance between joints, muscles and nerve structures.

Techniques used in Manual Therapy:

  • joint manipulations and mobilizations
  • neuromobilizations of nerve structures
  • soft tissue therapy
