Pinotherapy

Pinopressure is a therapy involving stimulation of areas on the human skin.

The method is classified as a reflex therapy, where the body’s self-repair processes are used. Using copper nails called (pins) and knives (katas), specific points on the body are pressed and stimulated. The stimulation of the skin stimulates the brain centers responsible for tense structures and leads to the relaxation of accumulated tensions and reduction of pain.

Pinotherapy is used in therapy:

  • pain of the musculoskeletal system
  • musculoskeletal pain
  • overload and tension pain
  • Post-traumatic and post-operative conditions
  • restrictions in the range of motion
